NCCA Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor
When we go through difficult seasons of life, sometimes we lose perspective on who God is and who He created us to be. As a Christian counselor, I desire to come along beside those who are hurting, struggling, and suffering and reconnect them to God’s perspective. One of my “life verses” reflects this: “Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”( I Thessalonians 5:11). Through Temperament Therapy, Christian counseling, and God’s word, this can be accomplished.
I have a unique life story that has given me a wide range of experiences and perspectives. I have been in full time ministry, a school teacher, parenting coach, writer, speaker, short-term missionary, and a mother of 7 children. Through all these
experiences, I have encouraged, counseled, and helped those around me.
As a lifelong learner, I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, attended the International School of Theology, WorldReach Bible Institute, Truth Project, Liberty University. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Christian Counseling and I am a Clinical Member of the National Christian Counseling Association. Additionally, I am a certified Temperament Therapist.
In my downtime, I enjoy long walks with my husband, gym workouts, play dates with my grandchildren, trips to the beach, and planning fun events for my small group at church.
