I personally believe that everyone can benefit from counseling. Life is hard. The Christian journey is not always easy, especially if you feel alone. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast your anxiety on Him for He cares for you.” Not only will individuals be sharing with me, but we will lift all of our conversations to the Lord. Together, we will discover wisdom for how to live life in a broken world from the wisest person who ever lived, Christ. It is my hope to walk alongside those who are hurting and help them live a more fulfilled life in Christ.
My degree focused on a holistic approach to therapy. While we may come to therapy for a specific problem, every area of our lives can be affected. During my time in school, I worked within a hospital setting counseling patients and their families and have worked within a private practice setting since.
My husband and I are active in our church and various small groups. I enjoy living an active lifestyle, including practicing yoga, going on walks, and hope to have a veggie garden this spring!
