My greatest joy in counseling is to see people set free and begin living the abundant life that Christ died to give us. Today, more than ever, marriages and families are under attack and it is my desire to equip individuals, couples, and families with tools that provide emotional and spiritual growth that will lead to lasting results.

I have been a Christian for over 30 years and after spending many years as a business man, I answered God’s call on my life to counsel. Trusting that God would show me the way, I obtained the education needed to become a professional therapist, and began my counseling career. I began my practice in southwest Georgia and it rapidly grew to include central Georgia as well.

I eventually settled in Macon and became the Founder and Director of Northpoint Christian Counseling. Northpoint has been part of the larger vision God has unfolded for me, enabling my past business experience to reach more people for their counseling needs.

I hold a PhD in Clinical Christian Counseling which includes advanced certifications in marriage and family therapy, sexual abuse & addiction, cognitive therapy and temperament therapy. I am an ordained pastor, and I continue to expand my knowledge base by attending national conferences through my professional affiliations. I

am a member of both the National Christian Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Utilizing temperament therapy in our practice allows a greater understanding into the biopsychosocial complexities of our clients.

We are a solution based practice giving individuals tools that are unique to their temperament needs. As a result our clients are able to be proactive from a place of peace and confidence in God’s will for their life.

During downtime I enjoy a myriad of activities with my wife, Debi, friends and family. I am a diehard Georgia Bulldog fan and if I can fit in a round of golf, it’s been a very good day!
