Amanda Scott, RN. M.A.
NCCA Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor
As a Licensed Health Professional for twenty years, I bring a holistic approach to the counseling environment. It is my desire to foster healing by providing a safe and secure place for my clients. My goal is to honor Christ and edify others while teaching them the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit.
Through the integration of Temperament Therapy, my clients experience freedom in knowing who they were created to be, developing God-given strengths and surrendering inborn weaknesses. As a broken vessel, anchored in Him, I am grateful for the opportunity to teach others their purpose for His Kingdom.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University. I am a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and Professional Clinical Member through the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA), where I also became a Certified Temperament Counselor. Additionally, I am a Licensed Minister through International Fellowship of Ministries (IFM).
I am a minimalist at heart and enjoy the simple things in life. I take pleasure in the serenity of nature and treasure moments of hiking, kayaking, Jeep adventures, and embracing stillness in the beauty of sunrises and sunsets. I have a daughter in college and have recently married my best friend. I am excited for the journey ahead as we live out our mission for His Kingdom.
“He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” ~ 2 Corinthians 1:4
